As the nation celebrates its 47th year, national leaders from the Pakatan Rakyat pledged on the eve of Malaysia Day to give political autonomy to Sabah if they came into power in the State.
Pakatan Rakyat leader Anwar Ibrahim, who led the pledge at the launch the Pakatan Rakyat State Secretariat here, said Sabah affairs would be determined by Sabahans.
The Pakatan, he said, was committed to defending their constitutional rights.
Joining him in the pledge were DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang and PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa.
